Northstar Printmakers

The studio started 30 years ago by a group of artists and It used to be a pub (called the North Star). The studio is run as a cooperative and each member takes on a role to help with the organisation and maintenance of the building. I joined the studio in December 2008 and really love it there. The facilities are great and the price is astonishingly good.

Currently we have 18 members and are looking for more, so if you’re a printer and want to join please get in contact. Fellow screen-printers can contact me (see my contact page for details) as I am acting representative for the department. All new members require an interview and induction by the dept-rep. I’m planning on uploading some photos of me working in the studio soon.
