Graphic Artist & Screen Print Fanatic
Rhys is a Brighton (U.K) based artist working in illustration, design and screen-printing. He has worked with Brighton based companies such as Plug In Media, Output Studio and abroad with Firehouse Rock poster co, San Francisco and the Bongout Gallery in Berlin. In 2006 he co-founded the collective BRAG (Brighton Rock Artist Group), who specialise in designing and producing screen-printed gig posters.
Heavily influenced by concept art for films and computer games being the main reason why Rhys chose to study illustration at Brighton University. A combination of interests within the rock and poster scene naturally led him to design for the music industry. He particularly enjoys working for bands/labels in the post-rock, stoner/psychedelic scenes. Highlights was when he worked for his favourite record label Rise Above Records and band Queens of the Stone Age.
